  2. What is IASP? • DoD Information Assurance Scholarship Program • Scholarship that covers: • full cost of tuition • select fees • required books • lab expenses • supplies and equipment • Stipend: • Undergraduate student: $14,000 per academic year • Graduate student: $19,000 per academic year

  3. What is the “service obligation”? • It is actually a guaranteed job! • You will receive employment by DoD civilian agencies upon graduation, and get paid salary! • You must be employed for at least the number of years you have received scholarship for. • e.g. if you have accepted 2-year’s scholarship, after graduation you will need to be employed by DoD for at least two years.

  4. Eligibility Requirement • U.S. citizenship • Will be junior/senior in fall 2011 • Pursuing a course of study in computer security and/or information assurance • Minimum GPA of 3.2 for undergraduate

  5. What you need to do if you want to apply • Let me know your intent by Feb 18. • Send in your application ASAP! • Application Forms • Resume • Two letters of reference • Official transcripts • Deadline extended to Feb 23.
