SMI-S Update • SMI-S 1.0.3 • Now an ISO Standard IS24775:2006 • SMI-S 1.1.0 • INCITS Public Review Completed 10/9/2006 • Currently In Comment Resolution • Fast Track Being Considered • SMI-S 1.2.0 • In Progress, Preparation of Final Draft • SMI-S 1.3.0 • Project Scope Completed and Work Underway

  3. SMI Events • SMI-LAB 7 Plugfest Scheduled for January 8-12 in Co. Springs • Hundreds of Products from over 23 SNIA member companies are conformant to SMI-S • INCITS Will Be Doing a Press For SMI-S 1.0.3 • SNIA Will Be Doing a World Wide Release That Will Address the Benefits of SMI 1.0.3 Specific to Each Country

  4. IMA Update • IMA (iSCSI Management API) • V1.0.2 Exited INCITS public review with comments • Following INCITS Processes to Completion • V2.0 • Periodic SNIA IP Review Ends 10/9 • SNIA Architecture Vote Q4

  5. MMA Update • MMA Multi-path Management API V1.0 • The SNIA Standards Committee has started working on getting MMA (INCITS 412-2006) through ISO. • MMA Multi-path Management API V1.1 • On Hold Due to Lack of Resources

  6. Other SNIA Technical Projects • Disk Data Format (DDF v2.0) • Work In Progress. • Draft due Q1 2007 • Architecture Vote Q2 2007 • Fixed Content Aware Storage (FCAS) • XAM API Early Draft Q1 2007 • XAM FSI Project Scope Underway Q2 2007
