Target group • Main target group : Industrial SMEs within fisheries and marine resources producing food • Industrial SMEs within fisheries and marine resources producing equipment for the main target group • SMEs with little RTD experiences • SMEs which not have taken RTD into use as a strategic mean Contract No : 508547

  5. Strategic objectives • Raise awareness among SMEs within the selected sector • Identify and analyse technology needs • Identify, analyse and disseminate information about best practices • Perform services for the participation of SMEs in EC FP6 RTD projects Contract No : 508547

  6. Operational objectives • Visit 480 SMEs • Perform 125 Technology Audits • Identification of at least 60 RTD project ideas and RTD project definitions • Arrange annually 2 European Stimulation actions • Arrange annually Technology Transfer Brokerage Events at 2 European Exhibitions : AquaNor - Seafood - Aliia - Sial • Arrange annually 12 National Stimulation and Information actions together with IRC Network, NCP Network and Networks of National Organizations for Fisheries and Marine Resources • Benchmark and disseminate at least 12 Best Practices Contract No : 508547

  7. Key issues • Focus on future sustainable development • Raise awareness for taking RTD into use as a strategic mean • Facilitate for at least 24 SMEs in EU-projects Contract No : 508547

Project milestones • Kick-off meeting June 2004 • Participate in 4 large European Exhibitions with large Brokerage Arrangements for SMEs • Arrange 24 National Information and Stimulation Arrangements • Identify 12 best practices, disseminated through IRC Network, NCP Network and Network of National Organizations for Fisheries and Marine Resources • Closing meeting April 2006 Contract No : 508547
