Re-imagined B2B Reinsurance Services using Liferay Portal for a Japanese Insurance Giant About Customer: Our customer is one of the prominent Fortune 500 global company that provides general insurance and reinsurance services. With them being one of the largest property and casualty insurance groups in the Japanese domes�c and interna�onal markets, they had a significant B2C as well as B2B presence across the globe. Brand Insights: The insurance giant has more than 80,000 employees across the globe It is a Fortune 500 global company with a presence in over 228 ci�es and 30 countries They hold A+ superior ra�ng for evident financial strength from their opera�ng subsidiaries Business Scenario: Our client had a legacy system for handling the Reinsurance services of the B2B counterparts The solu�ons were disparate and had a very poor User Interface They were using the systems for document management and premium calcula�on of the Auto and Workers' Compensa�on insurance services The legacy system users were underwriters and risk managers, but most calcula�ons and document management opera�ons were handled manually AIMDek Digital Partnership Scope: The customer wanted to collaborate with AIMDek and leverage our Liferay Service Partnership Create a modern microservice architecture for seamless B2B collabora�ons User-specific interface and func�onali�es for end-to-end process digitaliza�on Create a centralized and effec�ve document management solu�on Automate premium calcula�on from the available documents and data sets

Outcomes Delivered: Process automa�on reduced manual errors and non-produc�ve work hours The scalable and flexible Liferay Portal resulted in a complete process of digitaliza�on We helped the insurance giant make a shi� from intui�ve to data-driven decision-making with effec�ve document and data management system Seamless integra�on of systems generated real-�me access to data for informed decision making 18% Migra�ng to the Liferay portal increased process efficiency The Solution: As the AWS cloud and DevOps consultant, AIMDek provided the following cloud infrastructur management, DevOps, and QA services to our B2B Fintech SaaS provider: Liferay Migra�on Services Microsite Development on the Liferay Portal We helped our customer migrate their solu�ons and data from their legacy systems to the Liferay Portal. Our Liferay experts provided complete system and data migra�on services without any dark data or data loss. Instead of relying on legacy monolithic solu�ons, we created integrated microsites on the Liferay Portal that could be integrated with each other and connect various func�ons and processes. Liferay Third Party Integra�ons Custom API Development for Data fetching To give underwriters access to subsidiary company data to autofill data informa�on for calcula�on and get all the relevant documents regarding the transac�ons, we integrated third party systems with the Liferay Portal. To enable effec�ve data management and centraliza�on, we created custom APIs to fetch data from their CRM and provide underwriters and risk managers real-�me �me access to integral and relevant data. UI & Front-end Development & Redesign Document Management System AIMDek front-end developers created user-friendly interfaces and personalized dashboards for the microsites along with document management modules and data access func�ons for both internal as well as external users. External resources were empowered to submit relevant automo�ve or worker compensa�on proof documents on the portal and the internal managers could use the documents for premium calcula�on. Process Automa�on Services Based on the processed and submi�ed insurance and proof documents from the risk managers of the external insurance companies, we created a system to auto-calculate the premium for the underwriters. marke�ng@aimdek.com
