CSENet Quick Locate All identifying information has been blacked out for security reasons.
SPLS receives request for location from another state. They try to locate the person, send a provide transaction to the state, and close the case as a duplicate when action is completed. Caseworkers in the field do not have to do anything to these cases.
The following is an example of a LO1R and LO1P. The request came in from Washington state. Kentucky did not have a IV-D case on the participants. KASES set up the case with the client as MPI# 75. SPLS takes action to locate the NCP and then closes the case a CDUP so it will be purged from the system. This is just an example of the work that KASES/ is doing behind the scenes that caseworkers never see.
On 7/19/03, Kentucky received a Quick Locate Request from Washington to locate the NCP.
The next three screens contain the information that Washington provided us. For securit purposes the other screens are not being provided
On 9/24/03, SPLS provided Washington with all available information on this NCP.
KASES set this case up electronically with a client MPI#75. No child is listed on the case.
Events for this transaction can be found under the MPI events. They are listed as CREQ – CSENET QUICK LOCATE PROVIDE CQLR - CSENET QUICK LOCATE REQ After location efforts are completed and the requesting state is notified, the case is closed as a CDUP. This is done so the case will be removed from the system.
