This project aims to conduct a needs assessment to identify the sexual violence prevention education needs in the community. The KU Center for Community Health and Development will provide training, technical assistance, and data analysis to support the assessment. Join us as we plan the first meeting and discuss project milestones and deliverables.

Our Center’s Role • Provide training and technical assistance to reach needs assessment milestones • Develop and implement a KDHE Sexual Violence Community WorkStation to support communication, collaboration, and evaluation • Assist in the planning for and collection of primary indicators, risk and protective factors, and concerns of residents through surveys, interviews, focus groups and other methods; • Review existing assessments • Provide secondary data regarding sexual violence and related risk and protective factors • Promote the engagement of marginalized groups • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data • Oversee the submission of Human Subjects Approval (HSC-L) • Assist communities in selecting goal areas for continued planning and intervention
