Reflexive verbs- repaso

1. Reflexive verbs- repaso • Reflexive verb- action is performed on “oneself” • Infinitive ends in “se” • Reflexive pronoun matches subject • Yo=me lavo, tú=te lavas etc… • Pronouns placed before a conjugated verb, attached to an infinitive and attached to progressive form.

2. Imperfect Tense- repaso • No stem changers and only 3 irregular verbs! • -ar verbs end in –aba, abas, aba, ábamos, abais, aban • -er/ir verbs end in –ía, ías,ía, íamos íais, ían • Ser- era, eras, era, éramos, erais, eran • Ir- iba, ibas, iba, íbamos, ibais, iban • Ver- veía, veías, veía, veíamos, veíais, veían

3. Present Progressive- repaso • Use estar (present tense) + -ando/-iendo/yendo form of the verb • Estoy, estás, está, estamos, estáis, están • Use to say the action IS HAPPENING • Attach pronouns to progressive ending • Estoy afeitándome • **verbs that stem change in preterite also stem change in the progressive (ei, ou)…durmiendo, pidiendo etc.
