Introduction • As Apple releases another masterpiece – the iPhone 7, the world of iPhone application development is all geared up to take advantage of the new features and create innovative apps. • There have been significant enhancements in the phone and it has upgraded cameras, is water resistant, it has stereo speakers and a longer battery life.

  3. iPhone 7 Features • The iPhone 7 is as sleek as its predecessors. It has the iconic rounded design and weighs 138g – definitely lighter than the 6S. • It is said to be water and dust resistant with the IP67 protection. This kind of protection was already present in the Samsung Galaxy S7. • It has a notable camera bump. This camera is molded from the aluminium frame and houses the antennas. • The addition of stereo speakers one at the top and one at teh base of the handset makes it a great device for gaming apps, videos and movies. • The camera is larger, single lens 12MP rear sensor and has RAW support, is 50% lighter, 60% faster and has 30% more power. The camera is overhauled to include a completely new camera system with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). • The screen size is maintained similar to the 6S and 6S Plus. The 4.7 inch screen supports a resolution of 1334×750 and 326ppi pixel density. • This newest iPhone is launched with the latest version of iOS too. It is shipped with iOS 10. This new version of iOS has an enhanced version of siri. Siri can now command third party apps too. It also has a new messaging functionality. • iPhone 7 has a huge performance boost with the four core 64 bit Apple A10 fusion chip. iPhone 6s has a dual core processor. This makes iPhone 7 twice as fast as iPhone 6s. • The amount of RAM included is not yet confirmed.
