  2. Responsibilities Of A Certified Nursing Assistant A CNA or certified nursing assistant plays one of the most important roles in the healthcare field. Their role does not end on to assist the medical staff but patients as well. They generally take care of patients after operation, or someone who is not able to walk or move. Thereis an incredibly high demand for certified nursing assistants for their varied duties and roles in the life of patients.

  3. Role of a certified Assistant Nurse: Help Patients in Basic Activities The most critical care CNA can give to patients is helping them in the basic activities that they cannot do for themselves with any help. Some of the things that a CNA will help include: • It becomes the most important duty for CNA to keep patients as clean as possible. • Help the patient in shaving, combing hair, brushing teeth, and many more things to do. • Transfer the patients between bed and wheelchair.

  4. Listen to Health Concerns CNA has to assist RN supervisors in doing their job, and one of the ways to do this job is to talk with the patient during work to make them comfortable. You will need to listen to their health concerns and also record or note them.

  5. Measure Vital Signs Taking vital signs of patients like temperature and blood pressure every day is also a significant way to help RN. Also, you will need to take the weight, pain level, pulse rate regularly, and be sure to take these signs on time according to schedule.

  6. Patient’s Issues and Problem: You have to spend most of the time understanding the problems of the patient. In some cases, you will need to treat the patient's wounds, dress them, clean them, and ensure that they are healing with time. Also, you will need the problem of bed sores of the patients, so repositioning them and turning them regularly can also become a task as a CNA.
