  2. The blue dress on the right side is inspired by the third phase of Baroque Period(1680-1700). The long train is the feature of Baroque period women’s costume. Moreover, the designer from Versace combined the Baroque element to the modern fashion and had created a fabulous satin petal dress. (From In Style/ November 2010, page 116)

  3. The wool corset top and dress are similar to the dress in Romantic period. In Romantic Period, the corset is pulled in the waistline, and there is a corset cover over it. However, in modern times, the corset still function as past to shape better body figure, but the design of corset is no longer an undergarment but an outerwear.
