No words can express my feelings, and Im sure the only thing I can do is to accept the fact. Following is a poem, Thousand Winds written by Ms. Mary Frye in 1932. It exactly describes what is TC Hous style, so handsome, so generous and so friendly. He always lives in my mind.
By Mary Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
We are here to celebrate the life because we want pay forward TC life example to others. TC is the one with sacrificial spirit to offer his life to help others and give grace to other whoever they need. His earthly life had touched so many people and leave us legacy with wonderful memories.
We are grateful to the Lord because HE has placed TC life in each one of us and make us life more meaningful. Although TC is not here with us but his spirit is with each one of us. We are in pain to lose such wonderful friend & teacher but it is all temporal because TC is with Heavenly Father bosom. That is the best place we can image. For that reason we are comforted we will meet him again in eternity.

Goodbye to TC Hou
Neednot feel too sad aboutTC's passing;we all willdo the same eventually. It's the quality not the quantity that counts. His life was very inspiring. He was verykind, trusting, and ready to be helpful anytime. Afew years back he learned about this 'helping third world countries kids' linkfrom a stranger while waiting in line toorder food atsome fast food joint, thought it was a great thing and convinced me to open my wallet for the good cause. Well, being disorganized, I no longer have the link, but I have made it a habit of writing checks to this local homeless shelter since. Loved his passion for the less fortunate. TC was fun to talk with; we would be on Skype forever until the line was shut off either by Skype or our Internet services providers. Haha ... justsome speculations, of course. TC wasn't into material things at all; he subscribed to this cheap and craphome phone service for like $20 a year which would fail to provide good connection for like even2 minutes, yet he had always remembered to send me moon cakes until I insisted that he stop like a couple of years ago. TC was never critical of others, nothing like me; yet, for some reason we just clicked. :) TC has lived it; most of us would tend to wish that we had done this and we had done that even to our winter season, but TC was the one who dared to live it. Quite admirable, wouldn't you think?
Sure, I will miss the Skype chats and theemails from him badly, butwith the thought of meeting him again in heaven, hopefully if I am good,I think I am fine living my life remembering the good time we shared together.
Condolence Letter From Kevin Hsu
Dear Jay, Janice:
Please accept my condolences of your loss, T.C.s passing.
Your father, TC has left loving and influential imprints on many of his classmatesand friends. TC was a person of integrity, full of passion for family, friends andlife. He was one of the six members of Dumb and Dumber in college life
reflected his humble behavior toward to every dealings. His life was not smoothby the common standards. However, he has lived a life of, no matter how hardor painful or unfair life is, life is holy and worthy of celebration.
I also wanted to share with you that TC was a very sincere friend, that for all thetime I have known him, he did not just share and serve with his own resourcesand strengths but with himself. TC and I shared similar struggles after we both
migrated to U.S. During the years that I had to wait on table to make a living, hissupport was crucial to my strengths building.A small group of TCs Christian friends got together, after he was admitted toUCLA hospital on March 18, via a conference call and prayed for him and hisfamily. We prayed for Gods mercy; more importantly, we prayed for TCs
reconciliation with the trustworthy and loving God. When Hou-Jien () andSophia () shared in their email messages that they saw TC had many tearsthe next day, I knew TC was back and in peace with God just like the parable ofthe Lost Son. The scene of the heavenly father filled with compassion, ran towelcome TC, threw his arms around and kissed TC was still vivid today.Last year, I told TC that I would sing songs to him, namely, Throughout The Life () and Standing On (). One was to remind him of going back to Godand the other was the encouragement of each other. Now, Ill just sing thesesongs to TC over the air.To TC: sleep well, my buddy. I shall meet you up in the heaven when my call isup.
To you - Jay and Janice: you shall be very proud of your father.
