A school magazine is itself an institution which prepares its contributors to actively participate in whatever is going on around them, which affects their lives. They learn to express themselves confidently as their expression is given rightful exposure.
“Writing makes an exact man.”
And this what our magazine is all about !!
for one another !!!
Due to heavy rainfall our country has suffered from floods. It is a natural disaster. Approximately 15 million people have been effected due to floods. According to United Nations this is the worst disaster in Pakistan’s history and the nation had suffered the worst calamity which was more devastating than the 2004 Tsunami and the 2005 earthquake.
Nearly 80% of the floods victims are exposed to unsafe and unhygienic living conditions and multiple health hazards. Many have suffered From gastroenteritis, cholera, malaria and other water born diseases including skin infections. Cases of snake bites have also been reported. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) officials admit that a huge number of floods victims had no option than to starve and spend sleepless nights at roadsides under the open sky. Providing them with relief supplies, particularly food and safe water is an important task for the government.
Now it is our prime duty to help the badly affected people. We should donate money, clothes, medicines and food to trusted NGOs and organizations. We should provide them with things

Our country Pakistan is a peaceful place to live . It came into being on 1947 and the date was 14th August. Our founder’s name is Quaid –e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We have four provinces. Their names are Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber PukhtoonKhuwa. When our Pakistan came into being, that day we call Independence Day.
We have many cities in our country. Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan. Rawalpindi is also a big city in Pakistan. Its capital is Islamabad. When it will stop fighting it will be happiness. The people who don’t have food to eat, will get good food to eat. There has to be no violence because our religion is Islam. Now our situation is very bad. The situation has to be good. Police should do something for our Pakistan to make it peaceful. Now in our some cities there came flood. Our army should take them to safer places. Many people are doing write things to save Pakistan.

Let\'s enjoy a lovely
story and beat the evils....
When the Eid was about to come we had holidays from our school. We were excited and happy. On chand raat I bought coloured bangles. I applied mehandi on my hands. I bought new shoes.
On the first day of Eid, when I woke up in the morning. I wore new clothes. My cousins and relatives came to my house. I got lots of “Eidi”. We went to our cousin’s house to collect Eidi. We ate Sheer Khorma and different foods. We warmly wished Eid to our grand - parents. They gave us Eidi in return. On the second day of Eid, we went to our uncle’s house. There was an Eid Milan Party over there. I wore blue kurta shalwar on that day. I was wearing new shoes and blue bangles. All my young cousins were there too in the party. We enjoyed very much and collected Eidi from our elders.
On the third day of Eid, we had a function at our place. We invited our relatives on dinner. I also participated in cleaning our house. My grand mother prepared Biryani, Qorma, Kabab, and Nihari. At around 09:30 all the guests arrived at our place. I played many games with my cousins. We played musical chair, hide and seek and Ludo. Overall the function went quite memorable for us.
The whole event of Eid made us all united. We should share unforgettable memories with each other and experience new moments.

Rashid Minhas Nishan – e- Haider
The world but a stopping place and life but a short span so why not through time race and accomplish whatever we can so that generations to come will remember us as great ones.
I felt my eyes filled with tears and my heart beats with courage when my mother told me the story related with this poem. Friends you want to know the name of the poet. Who wrote this courageous poem. Well he is the great hero of nation, Rashid Minhas (Shaheed). He was the youngest Shaheed to be awarded Nishan –e-Haider the greatest award of our country, which is awarded to those courageous sons of soil, who shed the last drop of their blood in the defence of their motherland.
Rashid Minhas was the star of Pakistan Air Force, and during the war of 1971, he sacrificed his life for the defence of Pakistan. Rashid Minhas prevented his air plane to cross the enemy border and instead he turned his plane towards the ground and laid down his life for the country.
