  3. The province of Bocas del Toro is located in the Panamanian Caribbean, to the west of the country. Mostly covered by virgin jungle and forests, Bocas del Toro can be described as a land of contrasts. The majority of its inhabitants are concentrated in picturesque villages in its lowlands. The archipelago of Bocas del Toro, located at the entrance of the Chiriquí Lagoon, forms part of its geography. It comprises nine islands, 52 keys and more than 200 islets. Bocas del Toro

Portobelo Portobelo is located on the Caribbean coast, it belongs to the Province of Colón, towards the Northeast at an intermediate point between the Panama Canal and the Archipelago of San Blas. There are four types of diving: Snorkelling, deep sea, night and underwater hunting. The beaches of Portobelo, of an indisputable natural beauty, are favourite sites for lovers of diving, who can live the adventure of diving in same waters in which rest the remains of the pirate Sir Francis Drake.
