(Not a little of this or that) • Series Approach (Delaware Terminology) • 10 Series – Sprint Out Series • 20 Series – Sweep Series • 30 Series – Power Series • 40 Series – Veer Series • 50, 70 Series – Passing Series • 60 Series – Trap Option Series • 80 Series – Belly Series • 90 Series – Lead Option Series • Decide which Series you want to run and teach it. • Train your coaches how to teach the offense. • Teach the offense with a systematic approach. • Believe in what you are doing.

Buck Sweep Rules Strong Tackle - gap-read-down Strong Guard - pull and kick out the force Center - reach-on-backside Quick Guard - pull and wall off Quick Tackle – cross field cutoff Y – Play side - gap-read-down Backside – run a Flag route. X - Backside - run a 14 back to 12. Play side - stalk block. Z - gap-down-backer. H - run through the heels of the FB and receive handoff and run flat, cut under the kick out block. QB - Reverse out, right foot on midline, flash fake to the FB, handoff to H, bootleg after mesh. FB - Dive for the backside foot of the center and fill the A gap.

  9. Buck Sweep Continued Short Side Sweep away from TE Buck Sweep out of Double Wing Formation to the TE side. Short Side Sweep away from TE out of Double Wing Formation.

  10. Trap Rules Strong Tackle - 1st backer inside Strong Guard - gap-down-backer Center - post-backside Quick Guard - pull and trap the 1st defender on or outside the strong guard. Quick Tackle - read-backer Y - backer to cutoff X – Play side – push to stalk block. Backside - run a 14 back to 12. Z - backer to safety. H - run through the heels of the FB, mesh with the QB and fake 129 Sweep. QB - Reverse out, right foot 6 inches past the midline, handoff to the FB, fake to H and bootleg. FB - Dive for the backside foot of the center and receive the handoff and hug the wall to daylight.

  12. Counter XX Rules Strong Tackle - Covered - on, outside. Uncovered - pull and kick out. Strong Guard - Uncovered - pull and kick out the force. Covered - on, outside. Center - post-backside. Quick Guard - gap-down-backer. Quick Tackle - gap-down-backer. Y - pull and wall off. X - push to stalk block. Z - Shuffle back on 3 step motion path, receive an inside handoff and run under the kick out block to daylight. H - run the sweep path, receive the handoff from the QB and give an inside handoff to Z. QB - Reverse out right foot on midline, step to H and handoff, then get in pitch relationship. FB - Replace for the SG or ST. (If both the SG & ST are covered, pull and kick out the DE.)

  14. Jet Pitch Rules Strong Tackle - climb to cutoff. Strong Guard - climb to cutoff. Center - area cut. Quick Guard - pull and lead. (Block the third number) Quick Tackle - on, reach. Y - climb to cutoff. X - Block the called number. Z - Take a reach step and block the called number. H - go 3 step motion, receive the pitch and attack the flank and read the blocks. QB - send Z in motion, reverse out, step and pitch to Z then set up to pass. FB - fake the Sally play.

  16. Rocket Rules Strong Tackle - on, outside. Strong Guard - on, linebacker. Center - on, linebacker. Quick Guard - inside gap, linebacker. Quick Tackle - pull and lead. Y - on, reach. X - stalk block. Z - on, reach. H - Liz 129 Rocket - go in jet motion, run through the heels of the FB, receive pitch and attack the flank. Liz 122 Rocket - go in jet motion, run through the heels of the FB and fake the rocket. QB - Liz 129 Rocket - reverse out, step at 45 degrees, pitch the ball to the H behind the TE and set up to throw. Liz 122 Rocket - reverse out and handoff to the FB, fake the pitch to H and set up to throw. FB - Liz 129 Rocket - dive for the backside foot of the center, mesh and fake into the LOS. Liz 122 Rocket - dive for the backside foot of the center, receive the handoff and run to daylight.
