Feb. 25th • LG: I can understand the common vocabulary terms used with the Physical Health Unit • BW: How would you rate your eating habits on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best) explain? • Plan: Complete Vocab. Workshop – 3 min & rotate (15 vocab words) • Debrief: How will your goal impact your overall health

  3. Feb. 26th • LG: I can understand the functions & food types of each of the 6 nutrients. I can work cooperatively & effectively in a group while researching the specific nutrient assigned to them. • BW: Why do you think eating breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day?

  4. Feb. 26th cont… • Plan: Notes: 8 Food & Nutrition – 6 Nutrients Assign groups - research their nutrient. Design a power point describing your nutrient. Complete packet for your nutrient.(chpt 8) -10 min = collecting notes in text -10 min. = make poster/power point -10 min. = Gallery walk Groups: 1 = Carbs 2 = Fats 3 = Proteins 4 = Vit. 5 = Minerals 6= Water • Debrief: How does your nutrient impact your overall nutrition
