  4. Lower Division HonorsPeer Mentoring • 2nd, 3rd, & 4th year students • Maintain progress reports on freshmen • Assist in academic planning • General counseling skills • Paired with 4-8 students in the same major UHP Peer Mentors

  5. Honors Courses • Honors Sections • Small discussion sections of large lecture courses • Led by the faculty, limited to 20 students • Added “H” to course number ie HIST 020H • Honors Seminars • Small courses 5-20 students • Topic of particular interest/focus for faculty. • Course number “HNPG” • ie. HNPG 042K - Psychology: The Doctor-Patient Relationship, Dr. DiMatteo

  9. Upper Division Program • Juniors and Seniors GPA above 3.4 • Under supervision of two faculty mentors to develop a thesis • Present thesis at Upper Division Conference in June

  10. UHP Think-Tank • UHP Students aid in faculty research • Brainstorm research questions • Opportunity for students to interact closely with faculty
