Task Group II – Charge for Delivery of Non Qualifying FS ACS Records • Develop a process to deliver and collect fees for non-qualifying Full Service ACS records. • Benefits: • Mailers able to receive ACS information on non-qualified Full Service ACS mail pieces • USPS provisions information to reduce UAA mail. • Process to delivery/charge for non-qualifying FS ACS records. • Provide ACS records in FS format. • Leverage existing billing systems. • Status • Finalize business and technical recommended processes • Present solution to MTAC 122 • Planning for software release 4

  4. Open Issues  How to populate the Mail.dat file when the consolidator does not have enough bundles for a pallet and sends the Postal Service a sack. (MADC or MBMC or MNDC pallet not allowed). Current proposal of linking virtual sacks to logical sacks does not meet industry needs. Co-palletizing combined (MLOCR) and list presort mail on the same pallet with a TMS operation. Options when the original location is not ready to send the Mail.dat file (until March 15). eDoc for Copalletization required after March 15, 2010 Task Group XIV - Co-Palletization

Task Group 17 • Identify eDoc processing performance problems, causes, solutions, and impacts • eDocs Causing Long Processing Times • Commingle mailing containing many customers and large piece volume. • Co-mail mailing with many editions, versions, and entry points generating many Statements • Analyze end-to-end eDoc Processing times: client validation, upload, and PostalOne! processing. • Measuring eDoc processing times in CAT, TEM, and Production. • Identify Mail.dat attributes: # of records, file size, etc. • Solutions • USPS reduces data validations in software • Mailer uploads piece detail file after initial submission • Work with PO! help desk to optimize hardware & software configuration • Work with BMS Analyst for best solution work around.
