Brief History • ~Feb 2010 Rebecca Gau, ACSA, organized meeting of charter AECs • March 2010 Meeting of ALL AECs - district, accommodation district & charters - in Casa Grande • Dec 2010 AZ Alt Ed Consortium Bylaws adopted & elections • Jan 2011 Descriptive Stats @ Full Consortium meeting • April – June Meetings in Tucson & Phoenix about AZ’s alternative school accountability framework • Nov 2011 Alternative School Accountability committee formed
