  2. %location% The Eiffel Tower is located in Paris, France. It stands in a park called Champ de Mars near the Seine River.

  3. 1887-1889 It was built by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. It took 2 years 2months and 5 days to complete.

  4. Dimensions It is 984ft tall, made of 9,441 tons of metal, and has 18,038 different pieces. It has 4 base legs (80 meters apart from each other) and 50 meters above the ground.

  5. The Eiffel Tower is the 5th tallest building in France and the tallest building in Paris. It is painted every year to keep it from rusting. They use 3 different colors all shades of brown.

  6. !!Building It Baby!! It was built as a tribute to the French Revolution. Only one man died while building the Eiffel Tower. Many people didn’t like the idea of building it.

  7. *~Not Just A Tower~* Since the 20th century the Eiffel Tower has been used as a radio transmitter. The tower also has 2 restaurants.

  8. +Oh I Can’t Believe It+ The Eiffel Tower was only meant to last through the Exposition but it is still standing today. It was the tallest building until the completion of the Chrysler Building in 1930.

  9. An EXTRAORDINARY Sight

  10. ?Would I Like To Go? I would love to visit the Eiffel Tower. As a matter of fact, it is one of the places I plan to visit when I get out of college. I think it is an extraordinary sight and it just amazes me. I also think it’s amazing how they built it way back then without all the technology we have nowadays.
