Types of waves • Reflection- you could be talking and the waves would bounce off something and come back • Refraction- talking with paper in front of your mouth • Defraction- putting a spoon in coffee or water when mixing it • Constructive interference- when its raining to drops of water would land next together and to of the waves would come together • Destructive interference – you could have someone shouting on one side of the room and then another doing the same but on the other side creating a muffled sound.

  3. Ultrasound and infrasound • Ultrasounds- are high pitch sounds that cant be detected by the human ear. examples: dolphins use ultrasounds to communicate for food, danger and matting. Humans use the same thing for the growth of babies that are not born yet • Infrasound- are very low pitch sounds that also cant be detected by the human ear examples: elephants, rhinos and other animals use this for finding food, warnings , matting and other communication
