  3. USO E FORMAÇÃO 1.a- O Present Continuous é usado para indicar uma ação que está acontecendo naquele momento.

  4. FORMAÇÃO DO PRESENT CONTINUOUS 1.B – O Present Continuous é formado da seguinte maneira: (Sujeito + v.to be[am, is are] + v.principal com ING) ING=gerúndio, ou seja, verbos terminados em ando, endo, indo na Língua Portuguesa.

  5. AFFIRMATIVE FORM • Verb: to paint: pintar • She is paintING with her hands. .

  6. INTERROGATIVE FORM • Verb to exercise: exercitar • Are they exercisING at the gym?

  7. NEGATIVE FORM • She IS not studyING. • Verb to study: estudar • She is playing the violin.

  8. IMPORTANT NOTES • Verbos Monossílabos(um som), que terminam em Consoante Vogal Consoante (CVC): to stop= stopping to cut= cutting to put= putting Repetem a última consoante e recebem o ING.

  9. 2.Verbos terminados em E: to love: loving to make: making to take: taking Perdem o E e recebem o ING.

  10. 3.Verbos terminados em IE: to tie: tying to lie:lying to die:dying Substitua o IE por Y+ ING.

  11. 4.Verbos terminados em YE ou Y: to dye:dyeing to buy:buying to cry: crying Apenas acrescente ING.

  12. Verbos dissílabos (sois sons) : To ENter: entering To Open: opening Acento tônico recai na primeira sílaba + ING.

  13. ...e a ação continua!!!Matheus,Lourenço and Ezequiel are preseanting a play at CDB.

  14. Luis is working hard. The boys are not eating.

  15. Are the girls eating pizza? No, they are ordering the food.
