Project Background • The existing cast iron pipe water mains are dated from 1971. • Since 2010 there have been over 10 water main breaks in Galt Court. • April 2017 - Pennoni Associates initiated design. • Summer 2018 – Service Authority replaced all water meters in Galt Court. • January 2019 – The Service Authority Board of Directors approved the construction contract with AVES Construction.

  6. Project Schedule • On-site construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2019 • 150 days to final completion • Dependent weather conditions • Hour of construction will be limited to weekdays from 7:00am to 5:00pm

  7. Service Authority Commitments To restore area affected by construction to original or better condition. • Includes pavement restoration of the court. To maintain road access at all times. • Emergency services, trash, mail, school buses and other services. • To communicate with HOA concerning project status. • To respond to residents’ concerns. • To notify customers about parking disruptions for daily operations. • Customers will be notified a minimum of 24 hrsin advance.

  8. Service Authority Commitments • To maintain water service. • Except for interruptions during water service reconnection. • Customers will be notified a minimum of 24 hrsin advance. No work will be performed outside of the hours of construction without prior authorization from the Service Authority. Daily clean-up by the Contractor is required. Service Authority Inspector on site daily and as necessary.
