School Supplies $35.00 covers the purchase/rental cost of : 1 Pkg. of Looseleaf 8 Duotang Folders with 3 metal holders Scribbler 30 cm ruler scissors Many Pencils (2HB) and erasers Construction Paper Pkg. Colouring Pencils 2 Binders (for French & Writing) Glue Stick Pencil Case +Many more consumable materials for the class. Label Everything!

Homework Responsibilities • Students are encouraged to become responsible for completing their own work, to the best of their abilities, on time. • Parents have a role to play by providing a quiet place and support as needed. A balance of stepping in and stepping away. • Homework should not last more than an hour. • If assignments are too difficult, or not understood, students should speak to me the following morning and ask for extra help. • The Student Agenda must be kept up to date & signed Daily. “Smart People Ask for Help”

Rules to Live By • Label Everything!: Clothes, school supplies, etc. • Times: 8:40, 10:25, 11:55, 12:15, 12:45, 2:45. • Entrances : Use the correct one for safety & security. • Boot Tray : Outdoor and indoor footwear. • Student Fee : Supports special guests & presentations throughout the year, i.e. Mermaid Theatre. • “Sign up” Board: For washroom & fountain use.

Resource Services • Students are referred by teacher, parent, or self. • To assist students in academic, emotional, and/or behavioral growth. • Occurs within the Classroom and/or the Resource Room. • Each Student is included in the school caseload, if accepted. • IPP may be needed if not meeting grade level requirements. (Decided by Team decision: Teacher, Parents, Resource, Administration) • An EA may be assigned for personal care and/or academic success. • Speak to your child’s teacher or Mrs. MacDonald for more information.
