  5. Cool facts about Halley’s comet Halley’s comet was first seen by Mr. Halley. It appeared in the 1910 and 1986. Spaceships journeyed to the center of Halley’s comet. This comet continues to return, gravity from other things in the solar system will affect the orbit of the comet. Scientist believe Haley’s comet has been around for 10 billion years Halley’s comet will return in 2061 or in the early 2062

  14. How long do comets live? The is no answer. But it depends on how the mass and composition is, and how close it orbits to the sun or Jupiter. The farther out it orbits goes the longer the comet will survive , which means when the further out it goes it will freeze more solidly and last longer than normal comets which orbit the sun or Jupiter. In other wise, it basically depends on how close and far away the comet is. Photo;nasa
