Neck Pain • Continues to break new ground for the entire guidelines project • Second round of comment from the profession • Responses posted to all comments received • Submission for publication • Reviewed by independent Journal reviewers • Responses drafted to comments from Journal reviewers • Decision made to publish • Publication date – September 2005 • Final version will be posted to web site at same time • Commencement of the DIER phase

Whiplash • RFP released to all stakeholders and profession • Team from Erasmus University in Rotterdam headed by Arianne Verhagen selected for extraction work • Began extraction work • Final report will be received September 23 • Writing team prospects identified • Writing team to be decided on September 29

  6. Headache • Draft of RFP released to stakeholders at meeting in October 2004 • RFP released in March 2005 • Proposals received and assessed • Meeting with finalists on September 17 • Work to commence October 1

Structural and Functional Deficits • Draft RFPs released to stakeholders in October 2004 • RFP for extraction released in March 2005 • Proposals received and assessed • Review of proposals by GDC reveals concern about size of evidence pool and clarity of purpose of guideline • Research done in summer 2005 around purpose of guideline • Decision made in September to define search terms and conduct preliminary data search • Will commence October 1
