  1. Houston Striders 2010 Distinguished Member Awards

Runners must be current members, representing the Houston Striders in HARRA competitions • World Association of the Veteran Athletes (WAVA) tables are used to calculate age-graded data over seven distances • Marathon, 30k, 25k, half-marathon, 10 mile, 10k and 5k • One best performance from each category is used to select the 3 best performances • Members that run for another club in the HARRA competition are excluded • Winners cannot win the same division two years in a row Runner of the Year- Criteria-

  3. Over 90%......................World Class Level • Over 80%......................National Class Level • Over 70%......................Regional Class Level • Over 60%......................Local Class Level WAVA Percentages- Summary -

  4. 65.4% WAVA average for three best distances • Best result was 67.2% for Bayou City Classic 10k • Participated in all of our relays (Cross Country, Bayou Bash, and Beach to Bay Relays) Open Female- Merits -

  7. 79.6% WAVA average for three best distances • Best result was 80% for USA Space City 10 miler • 19 race results including 8 HARRA races • Moves to Masters Division next year (to the delight of a number of our Open Male Division runners) Open Male- Merits -
