  5. Sinners By Nature and Choice • Romans 5:12,18,1912 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned— 18Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.

  6. 2. Reconciled By Christ’s Provision and Personal Choice • 2Corinthians 5:17-2117 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

  7. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

  8. 3. Become Reconcilers by Personal Choice • 2Corinthians 5:18-20 • He gave us the ministry of reconciliation v.18 • He gave us the message of reconciliation v.19 • He has made us ambassadors of reconciliation v.20

  9. 4. The Result of Reconciliation • Ephesians 2:4-7 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
