  4. Great Short Assignment Challenge Actions Had to reconcile IA/EA resource orders. Had to reconcile accts. Had to continue to order thru 2 Coordination Centers, but “receive & distribute” as appropriate. Remote hotel spike camp and base. Separate briefings stretched C&G capability. Would have had to make changes if it didn’t rain. Recognized need for and obtained Del of Authority from Cherokee Agency, Great Smoky Mtns NP and Blue Ridge Parkway. Experienced and professional teamwork!! Maintained good coordination with SACC, TN and NC Coordination Centers • Two fires merged into “complex” management in different states & under two different coordination centers • Travel / logistical support distance between ICP and Laurel Falls Fire • Fires burning in three different federal jurisdictions • First team assignment without Wilder • Quick ramp up & ramp down
