  7. Achievements • Factors that make it easy • People work really hard to achieve what they want • It takes lot of effort to gain success • There are many ways which makes it easier to achieve success, but in the end your effort counts

  8. Achievements • Factors that make it easy • Firstly, Goal setting is very important, one must set a goal before looking for success • Person should set a S.M.A.R.T goal • S – Specific, • M – Measurable, • A – Achievable, • R – Realistic, • T - Timely

Achievements • Factors that make it easy • Once you have set your goal, next step is planning, plan on how to achieve your goal • When you plan try to think outside of the box • Success is something that everyone is aiming to achieve, but without proper planning it is impossible • Work smart and not hard

  11. Columbus • Who was Columbus? • He was an explorer, colonizer and navigator, born in Europe • Finished four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean that introduced American continents • He started his efforts and process to build Spanish colonization on the American soil

Columbus • Your Thoughts • Some of you might think that he was an evil person • Based on Zinn’s research, ‘he was offered 10 percent of profits, governorship over new found lands and the fame with new title: Admiral of the Ocean Sea, in return for bringing back gold and spices from Asia, as he wasted kings money for voyages he was threatened to bring back gold from the Americas by any means’

They could spin and weave, but they had no horses or work animals. They had no iron but they wore tiny gold ornaments in their ears’ • Columbus worked smart and not hard
