(SeeSteve’s talk latertoday) • -- somedelay in Focus Coil due to some last minute checks • Worry over pre-tensioning of CM supports • MLI might touch rad. shield at corners (subsequently stated OK by Tesla) • Some confusion over pumping ports – 40mm installed instead of 100mm, • Tom Bradshaw doing conductance calculation • Tesla are having their He supply rationed.....! • Expecteddelivery date isnowearlyJune • MICE isotherwise all ready – Control system gettingready, • fieldmappingdevice has arrivedat RAL etc. etc. And greatprogress in the hall. • Caution thatthingswillstill have a question mark untilmagnet has reached full field!

Clearly our colleagues at RAL and DL have earned recognition in each of these areas.   Of course, MICE is a much wider, international team effort and the successes of STFC MICE team reflect the excellence and commitment of the MICE collaboration. To celebrate, Ken Long et al are planning a "MICE briefing" at 14:45 on Friday 01Jun12 during which Andrew Taylor will offer his congratulations.   CONGRATULATIONS!
