  1. Probiotics The pro-life technology

  2. Probiotics • Probiotics increase the population of the ‘good’ bacteria. • Good bacteria help fight off the bad bacteria in the chicken’s microflora. • Probiotics enhance health and wellness. • Probiotics keep bad bacteria away from the body and promotes health, strength and overall wellness.

  3. Prebiotics • Prebiotics, on the other hand, are food for probiotics. • Taken along with probiotics, prebiotics prolong the beneficial effects.

  4. Health is strength • Enriched environment coupled with probiotics and prebiotics ensure that our chickens grow up healthy and strong to become fierce warriors.

  5. Probiotics work 3 ways • Competitive exclusion • Bacterial antagonism • Enhance immune system

  6. Competitive exclusion When good bacteria occupy the gut ahead of bad bacteria. Example, when you give probiotics to day old chicks.

  7. Bacterial antagonism Probiotics fight bad bacteria in the gut by: • Excreting anti viral, anti bacterial and anti fungal chemicals; • Forming physical barrier to prevent invasion; • Promotes iron and mineral absorption.

  8. Enhance immune system Probiotics also enhance immune system by: • Building healthy organisms; • Improve immune cells; • Strengthen mucosal barriers.

  9. Pro life Simply bio means life. Thus probiotic means pro life. If antibiotics work by killing bad bacteria, probiotics work by promoting good bacteria.

  10. Antibiotics kill However, antibiotics kill both bad and good bacteria. Thereby, in the process, also depriving the body with the benefits to be derived from good bacteria. Without good bacteria the body is susceptible to invasion by bad bacteria that may cause diseases.

  11. Beat bad bacteria Probiotics and prebiotics do not kill. They promote and strengthen good bacteria so good bacteria can defeat bad bacteria, and thus, the body is safe from diseases.

  12. Prebiotics contribute Prebiotics help by nourishing and keeping the good bacteria in the body effective for a longer period.

  13. Probiotics and antibiotics • Probiotics to prevent disease. • Antibiotics to cure disease. • But do not give probiotics at the same time when giving antibiotics. • Complete antibiotic treatment first before giving probiotics to replenish the good bacteria.

  14. Artificially hatched chicks need probiotics Hen hatched chicks get beneficial microorganism from contact with the hen and the natural environment, artificially hatched chicks do not. Give them probiotics immediately before bad bacteria occupy the micro flora. It is best to give them Wow Manok immediately before bad bacteria occupy the micro flora.

  15. Hen hatched chicks get good bacteria from the hen. Artificially hatched chicks do not. Give them probiotics at once before bad bacteria occupy the micro flora.
