  2. Efects of Malaria You can usually tell when someone has malaria as the will have fever, chills, muscle aches, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, anaemia and jaundice( yellow colouring of the skin and eyes). Convulsion, coma, severe anaemia and kidney failure can also occur.

  3. Malaria Can Kill!!! Malaria is caused by four different species of mosquito's. These mosquito’s only live and breed in India and Africa. It is the most dangerous water related disease in the whole world!!!! It can effect 300 - 500 million people and can kill 1 million people a year !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Prevention for Malaria People who live in Africa and India often sleep in mosquito nets. This prevents people from getting bitten and therefore getting Malaria. If you do get bitten you can take effective anti-malaria drugs and you can also take an anti-malaria therapy.

  5. How Malaria Spreads Malaria spreads through the four mosquito’s at night and in the early hours of morning. The mosquito bites into the human flesh to feed on the blood. If the Human has an infection the mosquito will then spread malaria to the next person it bites.
