This article explores the cultural inactivation of Hepatitis C vaccine to prevent the infection. It discusses the basic parameters of HCV infection, HCV-specific antigens, replication inhibition, and neutralizing antibodies. Additionally, it examines the antiviral activity of α-Interferon and the identification of cytopathogenic HCV isolated from infected mice. The study also looks at the ability of inactivated HCV-containing material to induce HCV-specific antibodies in mice.
