Foreign Boys, Girls and Adolescents with International Protection Needs:- Ensure access to national territory for unaccompanied boys, girls and adolescents with international protection needs;- Ensure access to asylum procedures for boys, girls and adolescents with international protection needs; - Promote asylum systems in the region (not only Mexico and the US);- Strengthen the identification and referral of boys, girls and adolescents with international protection needs in relevant protocols; - Strengthen the identification of international protection needs and referral of asylum seekers through consular authorities.

Returned or Deported Boys, Girls and Adolescents:- Strengthen reception procedures for returned or deported boys, girls and adolescents, with the aim of ensuring respect for the best interests of the child;- Strengthen the identification of the protection needs of returned or deported boys, girls and adolescents;- Identify protection actions for boys, girls and adolescents that cannot be reunified and/or return to their communities of origin;- Document cases of deported boys, girls and adolescents that have not had access to asylum or have been victims of refoulement. -Develop mechanisms for determining the best interests of the child.
