VIVA 111Serving Others Joyfully • Group merged with James Street Ministry: Members are: Lynne Parsons, Sandra Johnston, Tom & Barb Chatterton, Joyce Duff, Cora Ann Lumley, Gail Henry, Dennis Myers, Janice Murphy, Judy Scott, Sherrie Carroll, Janice Gurd, Janet Lashmore, Sheldon Parsons, Steve Obalek, Len and Maggie JSM a collaborative partnership, community focused organization, been in the planning stages for well over a year; Several planned phases. The first phase: January 15, 2011, a Community Baby Shower, followed by a Baby Cupboard on a twice-monthly basis, beginning January 27, 2011, open on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon Users not required to belong to any particular affiliation,   need of the baby due to financial hardship and the inability to meet the need through other community resources such as food banks or other resource centers.

Planned Phases of JSM • Baby Cupboard • Cabinet been meeting for 1 year • Networking with community • Developed strategies for service • Media communications-Radio and Paper • Communication: Webpage, Business cards, Community Baby Shower Planned, Opening Planned, Volunteers slated, e-mail address

  4. Phases of JSM Phase Two Marriage Ministry –Len is taking this on • Community Kitchen • Divorce Support for Kids • Good Food Box • Physical Health Watch Days • Play Dates for Moms • Senior’s Services (Caregiver Stress, Loneliness) • Youth Activities (safe play areas)

  5. Phases of JSM • Phase Three • Anger Management workshops/awareness/ • Bridges out of Poverty program • Coping/Divorce Support for Kids/Grief Support for Kids • Spiritual Support Workshop
