  3. Criteria for approval • The award should be for a programme or activity with in the purpose of JCI. • The award should not duplicate or overlap another Nepal Jaycees award. • The area or activity for which an award is presented should be well defined. • The trophy should be of acceptable design and size. Nepal Jaycees Awards Rules ENTRY FORMS • The nomination for any award must be submitted on the official Nepal Jaycees Entry Form. • Nepal Jaycees Entry Forms are available upon request from Nepal Jaycees. • Each Entry Form must be completed either in English or in Nepali. • Each Entry Form should be completed in detail giving whatever important information is required so that the judges will be able to fully comprehend the project/program/activity prior to examine the scrapbook. SCRAPBOOKS • Submission for each award must be in the form of a scrapbook, notebook or album. • Each scrapbook must be accompanied by one copy of the Nepal Jaycees Entry Form. • The outside dimension of each scrapbook binder must not exceed 10 inches in width by 12 inches in height. • Each page in scrapbook must be numbered. The maximum number of pages in each scrapbook must not exceed 50. Jc Subash Sigdel Vice President 2007, Nepal Jaycees

  6. Each scrapbook should have a label that gives the following information: a. Name of submitting LOM. b. Name of Award c. Year of Convention • Scrapbook should be either hand carried to the National Convention or alternatively sent by post to the Secretary General at the Nepal Jaycees Secretariat. • The dateline for the receipt of the scrapbooks at the National Convention is 8 a.m. on the second day of the opening of the National Convention. NARBADA SHANKAR AWARD • Presented by : JCI Sen kishore Dhanawat • Description : A hand carved wooden plaque with a disabled in silver plate embossed in center. • In Recognition : The best LOM Project in the NOM connected with the disabled. • Judging : Entries will be judged on the following : 1.   8. K.P. GAUTAM AWARD This award is instituted by Nepal Jaycees in memory of NJC Past President K.P. Gautam. This award is given to the chapter making the best contribution on the development of children in the particular year.   9. Entries will be judged on the following points : 1. Community response 10 pts. 2. Involvement of the members 20 pts. 3. Benefit to the children involved on the basis of their needs 50 pts. 4.
