The Cultural Revolution: A Dark Chapter in Chinese History

The Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) was a period of widespread social and political upheaval in China, resulting in nationwide chaos and economic disarray. Launched by Mao Zedong, it led to millions of deaths, torture, and the destruction of education and traditional values. Although the Communist Party acknowledges it as a mistake, its impact is still felt today.
