  5. Did You Know… • Texas A&M University-Commerce in Rockwall offered 26 classes in 2009 with 417 students enrolled • Collin College offered 45 classes in Rockwall in 2009 with 686 students enrolled

  6. Currently, 42 elementary and secondary teachers are enrolled in the Cohort of Rockwall Educators Masters Degree program (CORE) with graduation dates in 2010 and 2011. RISD and the YMCA partner to provide after-school programs at 8 elementary schools. Did You Know…

  48. High School Graduation Requirements House Bill 1 increased graduation requirements for students beginning with 2007-2008 ninth graders. Students are required to earn four credits in each core content area: math, science, English language arts and social studies. Referred to as the “4X4” plan
