  2. What are bacteria and viruses? • Bacteria is a single celled organism that lives almost every where on Earth. Bacteria is a prokaryote since it lacks a nucleus in its cell. Some bacteria are hetotrophs while others are autotrophs , and some bacteria are good and helpful where others can cause harmful effects. • Viruses are tiny non-living particles that enter and reproduce inside a living cell. All viruses are bad and all are harmful to the body. Bacteria Virus

  4. History of SARS Different people have different theories to when SARS first started, but it was sure to be from China. The first person that was known to have SARS had died faster than after it was actually known and people had ideas to how to cure it. 6. Symptoms • Normal symptoms are flu-like from coughing and sneezing to sometimes even throwing up. This makes SARS very unnoticeable but normally the symptoms are more outstanding.

  7. Cause • SARS is caused by a corona virus which in this case effects our lungs. What it does is that after it has entered our bodies it starts reproducing and it slowly starts clogging up and makes it hard to breathe. This is very similar to asthma but doesn’t last for ever if treated with the correct medical attention. SARS-corona virus is an active virus means that it shows signs sooner and more effectively than a hidden virus which is slow and sneaky.

  8. How to Prevent SARS • The last SARS outbreak was in 2003 and it was highly recommended not to travel to any place that has it. Now there are also vaccines that can be taken to prevent SARS. SARS has also been known to be spread by animals, from small rodents to cows, so ALWAYS wash anything that you will eat and cook everything correctly so there is no room for any viruses to be contained. Lastly NEVER have any unprotected sexual intercourse with any one who has or had SARS.
