  2. Where is Malaysia? • Malaysia is in Asia. • It is divided into two parts. • Malaysia is in the South China Sea.

  3. Malaysia • The capital city is Kuala Lumpur. • The countries that border Malaysia are Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.

  4. Flag of Malaysia • All the stripes on the flag represent every state in Malayisa. • There are 16 states in Malaysia. • The colours of the flag are blue, yellow, white and red.

  5. Mountains in Malaysia • This is Mt. Kinabalu which is in Borneo • It is 4100m high. • On the map below you can see Mt. Kinabalu.

  6. Schools in Malaysia • Primary and secondary schools are free. • There are six school years. Those who do well stay in school for another two years.

  7. Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi • This is the Prime Minister of Malaysia. • He was born in December.

  8. Population • The population of Malaysia was 22.7 million in December 1999. • Malaysia is a multi-cultural society.

  9. Clothes of Malaysia • This is what Malaysian people wear. The clothes are very loose because it is very hot in Malaysia.

  10. Famous places in Malaysia • If you visit Malaysia you will probably want to visit Deer Cave, the biggest cave in Malaysia. • These are the impressive Petronis Twin Towers, located in Kuala Lumpur. They were the world’s tallest twin buildings from 1998 to 2004. There are 88 floors in the Petronis Twin Towers are they are 1,483ft high!!!
