  1. Vocabulary Building Extra Credit: Semester Two • Create a Power Point slide show or Prezi presentation featuring all thirty of the Vocabulary Prefixes and Roots from the second semester. A complete list is available at: http://bhsd228.schoolwires.net/Page/6213 • Each slide should contain: • The prefix or root and its definition. • A word containing the prefix or root and that word’s definition. • A sentence which demonstrates an understanding of that definition. For example: “I like atheists.” would not be an acceptable sentence. • An image or graphic which represents the word, sentence, or prefix/root. • A pleasing look or design. • Students will earn 30 assessment points after completion. • Points are all-or-nothing. No partial extra credit will be offered. • Slide shows will include 31 slides, therefore, including the title slide featuring the student’s name and class. • Power points should be e-mailed to Mr. Fitch by 7:00 A.M. on May 27, 2014. If e-mail is unavailable, students should speak to Mr. Fitch by May 20, 2014 to make other arrangements to deliver the file. No print-outs will be accepted. • An example slide follows these directions.
