University Charges • Review of Semester Rate Schedule • Tuition and Fees • Wireless Mobile Computing Fee • Residence Hall and Food Service • Program Fees and Lab Fees • Optional Fees • Trojan Gold • Parking Tags
University Student Account • Current activity lists real time balances and detailed transactions for the past 45 days. Students should check their account on a regular basis. • Online billing statements are available through SDePay. These are not real time (check posting date). Parents can be set up as authorized payers to check their student’s account. • Fall Bills are posted by early August. • Spring Bills are posted by early December. • Estimated financial aid that has been provided to DSU is shown on the student’s SDePay account. • Correspondence throughout the term is sent to the student’s DSU email. Students should check their email on a regular basis. • Monthly DSU bills are posted electronically following the start of a term.
Payment/Refunds • Payment or payment plan deadline is September 6th for Fall 2012 and January 22nd for Spring 2013. • How to Make University Payment • Through SDePay. Students can set up a parent with access to make payments. • In Person or by Mail • University Approved Payment Plan • See FACTS brochure or the DSU Cashier website • Payment plans are processed through Nelnet Business Solutions/FACTS • Refunds due to Financial Aid in excess of your charges may be direct deposited. Refunds processed as a paper check will be mailed to the student’s current local address. • Sign up for direct deposit in WebAdvisor under the Financial Information section.
Enrollment Confirmation • Students are notified via email when they can complete the enrollment confirmation in WebAdvisor and are sent reminders if the confirmation has not been completed • Fall enrollment confirmation is available August 1st • All students are required to complete the enrollment confirmation • Refunds are not issued to students if they have not confirmed their enrollment • Confirming enrollment does not extend the payment deadline • Registration is subject to cancellation if the enrollment confirmation is not completed • If your plans have changed and you do not plan to attend DSU, you can make that selection on the enrollment confirmation
Change of Enrollment • Census day is the last day to drop or add classes for the term • The academic calendar is available by going to the DSU home page and clicking on the Academics tab • There is a full refund of tuition & class fees if you withdraw from the University by the end of census day • Other services are assessed by student usage • Any time you make a change in enrollment, you should view your current activity on SDePay • Withdrawal from the University follows the Board of Regents Refund Policy for the six state institutions
