  3. MAP objectives reduce pressures on services through appropriate awareness and access to new arrivals ensure services join up to work with migrant communities as part of their mainstream business strengthen community relations between migrants and settled communities

Migrant Access Project Help reduce pressures, help new arrivals to settle in Leeds Housing, Education, Employment, Financial Inclusion, Adult and Children Social Care, Health (awareness, pathways into general and mental health services, wellbeing) Sexual, Hate Crime, Police, Drugs, Emergency Fire and Rescue, Domestic Violence Part 1– Training of Migrant Community Networkers What is MAP? Confidence and assertiveness Communication skills How to find things out How to deliver information sessions Part 2 - Specialists sessions delivering key messages to Migrant Community Networkers Informed Migrant Community Networkers Communities Communities Communities Information sessions, signposting, helping to access services, inviting services to their groups, feedback to services

Snapshot of outputs developed the Migrant Community Network formally trained 87 (F 50: M 37) volunteers between 21 and 60 years old collectively speak over 30 languages gained employment (returned as trainers), further volunteering, completed degrees organised events, made referrals, signposted, advocacy, practical help, language support
