Principles of an ecological settlement: • 1 hectare – 1 family – 1 house; • 1 settlement– 150-200 families; • The function of land – a farm allowing to build a house for one peasant; • Managing a farm based on the principles of ecological stability; • Allocating a 10% quota on land for immigrants

  4. Purpose of the project: Creating and developing stable ecological settlements in Kazakhstan

  5. Stages of the model 1. Formation of the stable settlements 2. Development of clusters and implementation of green technologies 3. Distribution of the practice on all levels

Formation of the stable settlements • Changes or additions to the current legislation on land; • Allocation of 170-250 hectares of land by the local authorities; • Planning the settlement and organizing utilities; • Selling an area of 1 hectare (not higher than $1000/ha); • Creating and registering social foundations; • Constructing ecologically clean energy-efficient houses; • Establishing socio-cultural aspects of life.
