Answer all questions or directions that are in red. How to draw a Lewis structures and resonance structures: (1) Use element symbols: Click “Insert” and “Text Box.” (2) Connect elements: Click “Insert” and “Lines” (3) Lone pair electrons: Click “Insert” and “Shapes” and select a circle. (4) Enter the charge if needed. Copy and past for more. H H H H O O +1 H H H H O O

  2. Draw the Lewis structure for a molecule of each of these compounds and ions. a. H2S b. BF4− c. SO2 d. SeCl2

  3. Draw the Lewis structures for these molecules, each of which has a central atom that does not obey the octet rule. c. ClF5 d. BeH2 a. PCl5 b. BF3

  4. Draw the two resonance structures for the dinitrogen oxide (N2O) molecule. Draw three resonance structures for the polyatomic ion CO32−. To submit please save the file to either your desktop or another location. Then drag the file into your work folder.
