  4. Why did Paul believe Gentile Christians owed it to Jewish Christians to help them in their time of need?

  5. Good News About Jesus Christ (Romans 1:1-7) How does Paul introduce himself? What does he say about the gospel in verse 2?

  6. How does Paul introduce Jesus? What does he emphasize? According to verse 5, what privilege and responsibility did Paul receive through Christ?

  7. What three “callings” are referred to in verses 5, 6, and 7? To whom are these “calls” extended?

  8. What was the goal of the gospel Paul preached? To what did he call the Gentiles?

  9. To whom is Paul’s letter written (1:7a)? What does Paul mean when he refers to believers as “saints”? Define “peace”?

  18. Think back to when you were not right with God. How did you become right with him?

  19. How can each of us be always and completely right with him?
