  1. Blog 2: easydisc.net GUIDE TO BEING A CD MANUFACTURER It is a myth that the compact disk sector is diminishing with the advent of pen drives and other mediums of storage, but the truth is that this sector has been evolving since all these days. Also CD manufacturing business has ample opportunities for the novice. Planning to go into the business of being a CD manufacturer, there are certain things which need to be known by the individual. To start with a CD also known as a compact disk is an optical storage device, wherein the digital form of data is recorded on its surface. The data is transferred in the disk through optical beam so basically, there is no wear and tear of the disk in the whole process. The machines and the technology used in CD manufacturing are also easily available in the market. Being a prospective CD manufacturer you need to keep into consideration the following aspects: first and foremost, the room or the place at which the CD manufacturing will take place should be dust free, also the air in the room should be filtered before letting it in. Evan a small dust particle will leave the disk useless and damaged. The production process is done at a mass level and a hydraulic press is used for the same. Initially, small granules of polycarbonate plastic are fed into the machine, which them presses them in the form of a CD with the help of heat ad high temperature. Later on, the disk when formed is removed carefully from the machine; you need to ensure that there is no human interference at this stage. The removal of the disk needs to be done with the help of robotic harm. There are two reasons for this; first the disk is hot due to high temperature inside the machine which may prove to be fatal for the human, and secondly, there are chances of dirt being stick on the surface of the disk. Taking these things into consideration, it will be a more productive venture to be a CD manufacturer.
