  11. ECOLOGICAL COMPENSATION AND RECYCLING • Recycling • materia: cardboardwhile we managed to have the environmental impact study in order to collect other materials. • Cost: $2,500 per month which is assumed as a fixed operating expense by LRP. • Effect: to this day 70.42 toNcardboard , being today an average of 11.5 TON per month. • Compensation • Project to be restored in conjunction with Miambiente and the Panama Pacific agency • 400 hectares reforested (180 forests, +350,000 trees) • Recovery of forested formations, 50% of the reforested hectares already have abundant tree cover and a clear increase in biodiversity. • Restoring the permanent flow of a water source, this achievement is of high environmental and economic importance to the country, as it supplies one of the tributaries of Lake Miraflores that remained dry.

  12. WATER MANAGEMENT • Non-drinking water supply system • Dispatch of non-drinking water for use in dust control, compaction, irrigation of green areas and street washing. • 2 authorized wells - hydrogeological studies have determined the presence of an aquifer with sufficient delivery and recharge capacity to ensure its sustained use without generating risks to it. • This system dispatches about 52,000 gallons of undrinking water daily to supply the project's water demand. • We have avoided the daily consumption of drinking water that requires approximately 530 people for their drinking water supply. • Based on the Guide to Good Environmental Practices in the Construction of Panama Pacific.
