  1. Over Ear Headphones Over-ear headphones create their own protected space around the whole ear where they can unfold their soundscape you can delve into. Fitted with soft leather, leatherette or velour ear pads they ensure a comfortable fit even during extended hearing sessions. Over-ear headphones can feature a closed or an acoustically open design. With some closed models using different technology to eliminate ambient noise almost completely. Which comes in handy especially when you want to enjoy your music in busy places.

  2. Active Noise Cancelling Headphones Noise-cancelling headphonesare headphones that reduce unwanted ambient sounds using active noise control. This is distinct from passive headphones which, if they reduce ambient sounds at all, use techniques such as soundproofing. Noise cancellation makes it possible to listen to music without raising the volume excessively. It can also help a passenger sleep in a noisy vehicle such as an airliner.

  3. Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones • In a world of noisy construction traffic, screaming children and loud talkers, the best present you can give (or receive) is the gift of peace and quiet. While you might not be able to afford tickets to a desert island, a pair of active noise-cancelling headphones is the next best thing. They're great for playing your favorite tunes while keeping the outside world at bay. And with an average 15 hours of battery life, they're perfect for long trips.

  4. Wireless Over Ear Headphones Bluetooth headphones are convenient when they're charged, but once the batteries run out you're left without music. Some headphone has its solution to this by including a 3.5mm port and cable with their Bluetooth headphones. For models with a wired option, you can plug the cable in and use them as conventional headphones  until you can charge them again, and use them without issue on airplanes, to boot. Wireless earphones almost never have this option, because they're already so small there simply isn't any room to place a headphone cable jack.
