3. Right Click on the very edge of the text box. Choose Save as Picture. Put the name in the box as Letter 1 (or Letter 2 etc.) Click the Down arrow for the type, and choose GIF. You must save all your letters as GIF, otherwise you cannot make an animated gif out of them.

4. School portal • Year 7 page • Look on the right hand side • Scroll down until you Find Student Applications • Click on Unfreez • Run the program • Drag and drop the images into the window

6. Drag your pictures into this screen. Make the Frame Delay 25. Choose Make animated GIF. Save it as YourName animation. Drag your saved animation into my drop box.

7. UnfreezDownload Unfreez http://www.whitsoftdev.com/unfreez/ • Make sure you have all your letters in the window • All images in Unfreez have to be gifs • Time delay has to be 25 or higher • Make animated gif • Save it as your name animated gif1 • Put in my drop box

9. Do your name and Echuca College, then • Find a photo you like • Put it into Paint • Make small changes to the photo, e.g. You can draw on the photo or make parts of it move, add shapes etc. • Save in between as GIFs • Call it Photo1, Photo 2 etc. • Make animated GIF in Unfreez

10. Make animated gifs by drawing on the picture in Paint • Choose a picture you want to draw on • Open it in Paint • Save it as a GIF, save it as name of picture gif 1 • Now make a slight change by drawing on it • Save it as name of picture gif 2 • Continue in this way, save as gifs • Open Unfreez • Drag pictures in, make time delay around 20 • Save as yourname GIF. Put in my drop box.

Making animated gifs by using the freeform select tool in Paint • Choose a picture you want to move something on • Open it in Paint • Save it as a GIF, save it as name of picture gif 1 • Now make a slight change by freeform selecting something, moving it, fill in white areas with black (or appropriate colour) • Save it as name of picture gif 2. Continue • Open Unfreez, Drag pictures in, time delay around 20 • Save as yourname GIF. Put in my drop box.

23. Choose the picture. • Open it in Paint. • Before making any changes, save it as “name of picture gif 1”

24. Select the part of the picture you want to move. Move it to where you want it. You may want to move more than one bit at once. If needed, fill in the background with an appropriate colour. Save your picture as picture name gif 2. Continue in this way.

26. Open Unfreez. Drag the pictures into Unfreez. Change frame delay to about 20. Save as yourname animated gif .....(e.g. Cat). Put finished gif in my drop box.

30. Choose the fill bucket, choose an appropriate colour. • Fill in the white space with that colour. • Save your picture as a gif.

36. Make an animation by drawing in Paint • Draw your own picture. • Save it as yournamepicture1 GIF. • Make a small change by drawing or moving part of the picture. • Save as yournamepicture2 GIF. • Continue. • Open Unfreez. • Drag the pictures into Unfreez. • Set time delay to 25. • Save as yournamepicture animation GIF. • Place in my drop box.
